EV Battery Recycling Technician

A growing circular-economy operator is expanding its Adelaide battery recovery facility and needs a Recycling Technician experienced in safe handling and dismantling of lithium-ion EV battery packs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely discharge, dismantle, and sort end-of-life EV battery packs
• Follow strict hazardous materials handling and storage protocols
• Operate battery testing and material recovery equipment
• Maintain accurate processing and compliance records

Requirements

• Experience handling lithium-ion batteries or hazardous materials
• Relevant WHS and dangerous goods handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Mechanical or electrical trade background highly regarded
• Comfortable working in a fast-evolving, safety-critical environment
